Having a funny day on tramadoll - post op hospital gave me these meds for pain relief...ran out over the weekend and did a bote into gp for more.
Being back on them I feel like I'm spinning here there and everywhere! LOL
I've been having bouts of sickness as well - closing my eyes help. Reminds me of when the room spins in my old drunken nites out after nite clubbing!Scared

Thought I'd share my peculiar experience with tramadoll - wouldn't take them if I'm driving! Its like getting drunk without spending money and having to drink the boozy drinks!LOL

Must go, painkillers clicking in off to spin again, weeeeeeeee
Scared LOL

Hi Jane

That was what tramadol did to me... so I decided not to take in any more. I was given morphine (oromorph) instead which is much better ThumpUp - good pain relief without that weird feeling!!

Not all GPs will prescribe it though!! Anything with codeine doesn't like me either!

Hope the pain subsides soon.

BigGrin Hello Anne
Glad tramadol isn't just effecting me!LOL
When I was in hospital I was given morphine but it made me fuzzy and really sick, so they gave me this!
I've jigged it, I take 2 in the morning and feel awful a while later, 1 at lunch time and feel ok. 2 at bedtime and 2 during the nite.
When I ran out last week I went back to codeine & diclef but felt the pain.
I probably will drop down to 1 in the morning, don't like feeling I've been out on a alday bender - honestly I haven't!!! Razz Blink
About 10 years ago I remember the feeling of room spining aaaahhhhh !
Humour a must

Oh Jane, (everyone sing!) you spin me right round baby right round.... Lol

Bless
The tramadol I've never got on with. It gets nicknamed tremor-dol here as it made me wobbly.

Well, wobblier... ;)

There are other pain things to try. I'm taking zomorph nowadays, slow release morphine and its great control

Got oramorph for the breakthrough pain.

Hope th pain is settling, the damp weather doesn't help does it.

Love
